Human Centric Lighting (HCL) or tunable (white) LED-lighting tunes electric lighting by adapting light levels as well as the spectral distribution. The output that most tunable systems follow is a ’daylight curve’ with reduced and ‘warmer’ lighting in morning and evening mediated by an increased ‘cooler’ level around noon. Application of these system assures improved alertness and mood, increased performance, and good sleep/wake cycles. However, how do we examine the influence of HCL on user performance and well-being?
The seminar is held in English.
