Citel is a family-run company with origin in Paris, France.
Founded in 1937, surge protection is the core and DNA of our business.

We solely focus on the development, engineering and production of high-quality surge protection devices (SPD). Our products are designed to protect electric and electronic equipment from damages through transients from lighting strikes or overvoltages.

Our product range contains SPDs which are designed to protect your equipment in a broad variety of different environments: if photovoltaic installations, AC-installations in households, charging of e-mobility vehicles, Energy Storage Systems, IT-networks, LED-illumination etc. - our SPDs are tailormade to meet all different requirements.

All our products are entirely developed and produced inhouse, in one of our sites in Europe, Amerika or China. Each of our production sites has an own testing facility to ensure the functionality and reliability of our products - before they are externally certified by acknowledged institutions.
